The Spinflector – Safety Reflector is a durable solution that improves site road safety while greatly reducing costs and increasing efficiency. This product is perfectly designed for drawing increased attention to high traffic areas for example, intersections or high-risk zones.
The Spinflector – Safety Reflector’s have proven themselves on active mine site’s, with both Iron Duke and Iron Baron, SMR, SA, fully replacing both sites entire fleet of reflectors with our Spinflector’s and are looking at doing the same across their other sites in Australia.
Product features:
The Spinflector is manufactured in Australia from durable, UV stable Polypropylene and ABS plastics, designed to last years in the tough mining conditions. The unit is molded in orange with 3 wind vanes. Each Vane has 2 coloured 3M Diamond grade reflective tape stripes affixed – one on each side of each wind vane.
Optimized wind vane design
Spinflector’s wind vanes have been designed to harness the natural air movement around the site. They are innovatively designed and manufactured to provide regular rotation for optimum safety at intersections or high-risk zones without the need for excessive rotation that could lead to premature wear.
The Spinflector – Safety Reflector is assembled pre-delivery. The slimline design reduces packaging requirements and minimizes the cost of shipping.
Easy to install
The Spinflector’s are very simple and efficient to install and simply slip into 50mm DWV PVC pipe delineators. There are no screws or bolts to fix the Spinflector and the vanes are also individually replaceable.
Adaptors are also available to fit the Spinflector’s on different shape and size tubes, e.g.
- Stop signs with a 50mm square tubing
- Large safety cones with a 40mm opening
2 Key Cost Saving Features – Replaceable Bearings and Slide-and-lock feature Wind Vanes
The Spinflector’s bearings especially chosen for the harsh Australian mining conditions can easily be replaced in just a few minutes. With this system the life expectancy is ongoing, without having to replace the full unit.
Vane’s are also easily replaced if damaged. This is accomplished with a simple slide and lock system, slotting a new wind vane into place. This can be accomplished very quickly and with ease.
With the Spinflector’s easy replacement of bearings and vanes, this make’s Spinflector a cost-effective, long-term solution for sites everywhere.
Coloured Reflective Tape
Each Spinflector consists of 6 strips of coloured 3M Diamond grade reflective tape. Depending on your preference or use of the Spinflector, we can supply different colours of reflective tape. We currently have the following colours to choose from: fluro yellow, fluro yellow / green, red and white.
Unique “Strobing” effect at night
When the vanes rotate and reflect at night they produce a ‘swaying strobe’ lighting effect which appears to make the delineator pole sway from side to side. This unique effect enhances the safety of intersections or high-risk zones at night.
